Setting goals

Before you start any marketing activity, make sure you have clear goals.
Goals should be SMART – specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time bound.

You may have a turnover figure, a net profit target, or a sales target but the most important thing is that you will know whether or not you have succeeded.

You can then break these goals into 2 or 3 clear strategies and allocate time and budget accordingly.
